Manufactured from telescopic carbon-fibre sections, the masts can be fully retracted into a watertight housing when not in use, disappearing completely below deck level. This solution is ideal for keeping helideck surfaces unobstructed and preserving the clean exterior lines of the yacht.
The system can be hydraulically, pneumatically or electrically operated, depending on project requirements. Extension and retraction are quick and straightforward, controlled through a dedicated interface.
Among the distinctive features of the AMS system are the patented spring-loaded mechanism, designed to increase structural stiffness and stability when the mast is fully extended, and the patented washing system, developed to facilitate cleaning of the telescopic sections during operation.
Particular attention has also been given to minimising visible components. The electrical cable is fully concealed within the system, eliminating the need for an external cable reel.
Each AMS telescopic mast is custom-designed and manufactured according to the yacht’s dimensions, installation constraints and specific technical and aesthetic requirements.

Integrated stiffening system
The mast is designed to withstand all weather conditions without guy wires, thanks to a spring-loaded mechanism that increases structural stiffness when fully extended.

Control system
IP55-rated electrical control panel for local operation, equipped with a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and configured for remote operation from the wheelhouse or another designated location.
Hydraulic/pneumatic power unit (if required)
Dedicated power uniti if requested, complete with an emergency manual pump.
Electrical power supply
Operating voltage: 400 VAC, 50 Hz.
Upon request, the control panel can be equipped with an auxiliary 24 VDC power supply (e.g. supplied by the yacht’s onboard batteries) to maintain mast status signals when the main power systems are switched off.
Electrical cable
Multiflex RR 20×1 electrical cable, routed through a sealed cable gland from the watertight junction box installed at the base of the mast, ready for connection to the yacht’s onboard electrical system.
Navigation light alignment
An integrated anti-rotation system prevents the telescopic tubes from rotating, ensuring correct alignment of the navigation lights.
Weather and sea conditions
Designed to withstand all weather and sea conditions without the need for guy wires.
Navigation lights
Compatible with navigation lights from any manufacturer, including Cantalupi and Lopolight.
Status signals transmitted to the wheelhouse
Mast fully extended, mast fully retracted, water ingress detected in the watertight housing.
Finish
Matt or gloss carbon-fibre finish, or painted in any RAL or custom colour.
