Manufactured from carbon fibre with an epoxy resin matrix, they are engineered to optimise the strength-to-weight ratio, facilitating installation, removal and storage by the crew. The anodised aluminium base, equipped with roller bearings, ensures smooth 360° rotation, even under load.
Particular attention is given to safety and operational efficiency. The winch features an automatic locking mechanism that prevents accidental lowering of the load and can be equipped, upon request, with a power tool interface, allowing motorised operation without the need for dedicated electrical wiring or power supplies on the davit.
Each system is custom-designed to meet specific operational requirements, available installation spaces and the yacht’s overall design. The davits are available in different sizes and lifting capacities and can be configured for cargo handling, man overboard recovery, man riding and rescue boat handling, in accordance with applicable SOLAS requirements and Classification Society rules.
Finishing options include carbon-look surfaces or painting in any RAL or custom colour to match the yacht’s exterior styling, combining technical performance and safety with seamless aesthetic integration.
